Rockin' Jalopy's Motorama

Each November, the Autotron near Rosmalen in Holland hosts the Oldtimers autojumble and for the last couple of years Henry Van Uden has convinced them to allow him to host the Rockin' Jalopy's Motorama in the adjoining hall. What the old buffers must think walking in on Hot Rods, Kustoms, Bobbers and hordes of greased up Dickies wearing hoodlums after rummaging through boxes of old Citroen, BMW and Mercedes crap is anyone's guess, but Henry puts on an awesome show that brings in rodders from all over Europe.

The Scrapers came out in force to support the show

The UK was represented by myself, Miles from JackHammer Speed Shop (and also The Executioners CC) and Clark from the Executioners CC who drove over in his sweet '36. Miles and I arrived late Friday afternoon and had just about enough time to start setting up our stalls before we we 'forced' to retire to the bar for a drink.

I had been busy the previous week painting stuff to take
Saturday and Sunday were busy both days and I got a chance to put some race numbers on the side of Henry's modifed Excalibur SS over the weekend.

Saturday night, our hosts Henry and Christa put on a party for all the traders and exhibitors as we all stayed at the same venue... food, drink, a band... more drink... and more drink!

We are booked in for next year already!
