Mexicans & Chocolate...

Not much to say at this time, the inclement weather that feels as though has been with us for ages has put pay to serious riding as well as the festive period with New Year (Mexican style) celebrations. Despite this we have managed to continue riding almost up to the end of December.

Just before the festive break Sickboyz called to say that they had an early present – the newly painted tins for the FLHP.  Completed in white and with what can be best described as Cadbury purple, with a pearl lacquer this colour scheme certainly befitted the oncoming celebratory period.  I even joked that when completed and parked up I will no doubt have sweet wrappers left on the bike seat!

All fittings have been applied to the tins, but the badges for the tank will need to wait until mounted to best place them when the bike is on the level.  I have also undertaken rough assembly of the rolling chassis with final torquing of all bolts later on.

To all readers and riders have a great new year and may you have many smiles with your miles.
